How do I add my numbers to Spam Hammer?

Spam Hammer is a separate service that monitors your Lineage phone numbers and alerts you when carriers start flagging them as spam. Every number you bought in Lineage needs to be registered here, or your connect rate will silently degrade as carriers blacklist them.

When you'd do this

Right after setting up your phone numbers in Lineage, and before you start dialing. Adding a number after you've already started getting flagged is too late.

Step 1 — Log in to Spam Hammer

Go to thespamhammer.com and log in.

Step 2 — Open the dashboard

After login you'll land on the dashboard. Below it is a table of every number you've already registered.

A fresh account starts empty — no numbers in the table.

Step 3 — Add a slot for each Lineage number

Click + Add Phone Number Slot in the top right. A dialog asks for the Lineage phone number you want to monitor. Enter the digits, save, and the new number appears in the table.

Repeat for every Lineage number you bought, one at a time.

Step 4 — Confirm each number is being scanned

Each number in the table has a View action and a DELETE action. Click View next to a number to see its scan status.

Once a number is in the list, Spam Hammer kicks off an initial carrier scan within 1-2 days.

What happens if a number gets flagged

When a carrier flags one of your numbers as spam, Spam Hammer surfaces it on that number's View page. The usual response is to rotate the flagged number out of your dialing rotation in Lineage and either let it cool off. Spam Hammer goes to work getting spam flags cleared with the carrier.

The more numbers you have in rotation, the less any single flag hurts you. Most agents use three to ten Lineage numbers and rotate through them.

Common issues

"I added a number but its status still shows pending after a day."
Initial scans begin within 1-2 days after adding a number in Spam Hammer.

"Can I add my own cell phone number to Spam Hammer?"
Yes, your Lineage subscription includes 10 Spam Hammer slots. You can use these for your 10 Lineage numbers, or for your own numbers. You can also add any additional slots in Spam Hammer for additional numbers.
